Sports, Sports, Sports!
In high school I am going to 3 sports (if i make it.) Cheer leading, Volleyball, and Softball. My favorite sport is volleyball. I like to play outside hitter the most but i am willing to play any position. I am practicing right now for cheer leading try-outs are tomorrow. We first have to do a run out then we do the cheer, fight song, and the dance that we learned. in softball i really like to play 1st base, and catcher. This summer i am doing a summer league we play other high schools with up and coming for high school i will play double headers on Wednesdays in either Sedro Wolley or Mount. Vernon. For volleyball i will be doing it all summer the team will be going to the beach, on hikes, and doing a lot of team building stuff :). I am not so sure about cheerleading cause i will be really overwhelmed because i am doing all stars for baseball, volleyball, and softball. so well see! :)

Baseball
Yes i mean baseball not softball. I play Jr's with the boys because I am to old for majors softball, and there is no softball team again that I can play on. So last year I played for the Braves on a majors team, and this year I play with Nick, Nick, Jake, Wyatt, Evan, Phalen, Colton, Jordan, Beck, and me. I play for the Red Sox and we have won all of our games except one to Coupville unfortunately we weren't playing our best and we are determined to do our best next time. The teams we play are La Conner, South Skagit, Sedro Wooley, Coupville, Friday Harbor, and Oak Harbor Athletics. I play 3rd base and right field. I also might pitch in our next game Phalen pitched in our last game that Pha and i played but i am hoping to pitch in the next game. :)

Lewis and Clark Reflection
Body Language
Did you stand up straight but stay relaxed?
Yes i did. You could also tell that i was kind of nervous.
Did you pause for a moment before you began your speech?
Yes i did. i took a minute and even said Mr.Berquist please give me a minute
Did you look at your audience?
Yes i did make a lot of eye contact with my audience. not a lot with the left side of the room.
Did you let your facial expressions naturally reflect what you were saying?
Yes i did. In the video when the question "What animal attacked Meriwehter Lewis?" pretty much everyone's hand went up i was shocked and my face showed it.
Did you use your hands?
Yes i did. When i would count something off i would use my fingers and hands.
Voice
Did you speak loudly enough so that everyone could hear you?
i did speak loud enough. It looked like i did in the video.
Did you change your tone to show how you felt (upset, excited) about an idea or to emphasize a point? I did not really change my voice. Pretty much only when I was shocked
Was your speed of delivery too fast, too slow or just right?
It was just right. People could understand me very well.
Did you practice your speech at home before giving it?
yes i did to my family. in my living room.
What did you notice that you did well in your speech?
I didn't look at the screen. That much.
Describe one aspect of public speaking you will work to improve?
Not putting my hands up to my mouth.

TAYLOR LAUTNER!!
Eyes-His eyes are the universe's deepest black holes from which you will never return
Ears-His ears are spiky as an elf's ears
Mouth-His mouth is a love tunnel that you will never return from.
Nose- His nose is the prettiest water slide you have ever seen.
Forehead- Is a flat surface.
Hair-Is a pile of mud you want to play with.
Cheeks- Are nice red roses.
Teeth-Are big white pearls.
Lips-Is the entrance to the love tunnel in which you will never return.
Skin-Is as soft as a baby's bottom.
Ears-His ears are spiky as an elf's ears
Mouth-His mouth is a love tunnel that you will never return from.

Intamite Poem....Francee
I got this got this photo off the internet, but it still looks excactly like my dog. Her name is francee, she is a soft coat wheaten terrier, she is also 9 years old
Remember when we would play,
Tug a war?
I throw, You fetch.
Then we'd play again.
I wish you wouldn't have to go,
I know someday you will.
No one could ever replace you.
You were like a couch potato,
That's why you are such a good friend.
You will always be there
In my heart.
I will always love you,
Like a mother loves a child.
Tug a war?
I throw, You fetch.
Then we'd play again.
I wish you wouldn't have to go,
I know someday you will.
No one could ever replace you.
You were like a couch potato,
That's why you are such a good friend.
You will always be there
In my heart.
I will always love you,
Like a mother loves a child.
BASKETBALL!
I play basketball. i am on varsity and j.v. We have a good team this year and if we beat kings today (march 10th 2009) then we will tie for first place with them but if we lose and beat all of the other teams again we will win 2nd place. Either one would be good but i really want to at least tie for first place. The girls on the team are Hayley, Lindsey, Chelby, Phalen, Lillianna, Me, Hannah, Annalise, Alex, Jenna, Kaitlyn, Ellie, Chelsey, And the best manager ever Sienna! We work really well together as a team and have beat Sultan, Granite Falls, Lakewood, Coupeville but unfortunately lost to kings. My coach is Coach Felgar he is a good coach. I hope we can win the rest of our games!
